Continuing Professional Development

CPD in your Region.

Local tutors in your area will be offering q number of exciting CPD topics over coming months. If you'd like to know more about what's on offer, they'd be delighted to hear from you. Some tutors are still deciding on exact dates, venues and costs, but will be happy with speak with you at any time.

If you're a Probationer, workshop leaders are likely to expect that you'll have completed Parts 1 and 2 (or equivalent) in advance of attending a CPD workshop. Please consult the individual tutor concerned to be sure. Some of the workshops may be suitable for non NFSH members. Please check with the tutor concerned and, if appropriate please feel free to encourage other friends to come along.

Touring Tutors

Inviting tutors from other parts of the country to your region

Members in all regions will be delighted to hear that a number of the tutors currently offering CPD sessions, would be very pleased to discuss the possibility of travelling to your region to deliver their workshops in your area.

Lea Brodie, Dawn Redwood, Katrina Brook, Roy Hutcheson and Christina Mark would be very pleased to hear from you if the workshops they're offering are of interest to you. If you're in a position to book a suitable local venue, able to do some local advertising and collect the workshop fees from those who'd be attending, then Lea, Dawn. Katrina, Roy or Christina would be pleased to discuss your ideas with you. The fees / expenses that you pay to the visiting tutor can be decided between yourself and that tutor.

Please note that anyone from any region can make an approach to one of these tutors. To be able to plan a CPD workshop for the area you live, all you need are some very basic organisational skills!

Local organizers would wish to note that whatever you charge as an entry fee (and this may vary according to where you live), 20% of your profits will be payable to NFSH via a simple Registration Form obtainable from Central Office.

Certification of your CPD

Anyone attending one of the workshops listed, will be given a CPD certificate of attendance, issued by Central Office. Certificates will be given out at the end of the session by the facilitating tutor or regional organizer.
